Event Highlight: SEPA Course on Robotic Surgery & Laser Proctology

The SEPA course on Robotic Surgery and Laser Proctology, held at Swagat Hospital, Guwahati, on 5th–6th July 2025, was a resounding success. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Prof. Dr. S.K. Khanna sir, Course Coordinator, for his outstanding efforts in delivering a high-impact surgical training program.
A special note of thanks to Prof. Dr. Jishan Ahmed ma’am , State Lead, for her meticulous planning and seamless execution of the event.
We were privileged to have the gracious presence of Prof. Dr. D.N. Choudhury sir , Chairman, Assam State Chapter ASI, whose continued support and guidance uplifted the event. Our sincere thanks also go to Prof. Dr. R.C. Brahma sir, Vice Chairman, for his encouraging presence and contribution.
We deeply appreciate the participation of senior faculty members and the enthusiastic involvement of post-graduate trainees, whose engagement made the sessions vibrant and collaborative.
The event marked a significant step forward in advancing minimally invasive surgical education in the region.
We hope Prof. Khanna Sir, Visiting Faculty under SSUHS, will continue to guide and train surgeons and post-graduate trainees in such advanced techniques in the future, further strengthening surgical education and patient care in the region.
