Free Surgical Camp at Dewcare Hospital, Kharupetia

On February 15, 2025, the Association of Surgeons of Assam (ASA) organized a free surgical camp in Kharupetia, Assam, demonstrating their commitment to providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities. The camp was led by Dr. Dhirendra Nath Choudhury, Chairman of the ASA, along with Dr. Nilutpal Bhattacharjee, Secretary of the ASA.

The event attracted a significant number of patients from Kharupetia and neighboring areas, highlighting the community’s need for such initiatives. A team of experienced surgeons and medical professionals provided consultations and performed various surgical procedures, ensuring that patients received quality care without financial burden.
